Our residential students will benefit from living in purpose designed accommodation. The residences at Eagle Life College are comprised of two large detached family homes situated on a quiet road within our extensive privately owned grounds. As well as having access to open fields within our grounds, each home also has a large private garden. As you would find in any large family home, the houses each have a spacious lounge, a newly fitted kitchen and laundry area, a quiet room, a large art/leisure studio and five comfortable bedrooms for single occupancy.
All of our students are supported by a high ratio of well qualified care staff who work hard to ensure that each house is always home to our students. We are diligent in providing a caring and safe home for the students and each have their own room which they are encouraged to personalise with their own important items.
Meal Times are Sociable
At Eagle Life College, we see meal times as being fundamental to a social curriculum. All meals are prepared in our own on site kitchens using fresh local Norfolk produce and served in the college dining room. When student cookery sessions are on the agenda, students will serve their meals within the house kitchen. Students are offered interesting dietary choices and special diets are catered for.
Recently, Nicky Manwearing, our Catering Manager was awarded a 'Good Food Hygiene Award' by Norwich County & Breckland Council. This is only awarded to individuals who have worked above and boyond the expectations required for any catering business. As a result she is only one of two people to be nominated for a 'Nutrition Award' for her amazing healthy and nutritionally balanced meals and diets that are all prepared and cooked on site.
